Momma Tricia is writing on Maddisons Blog...Muhaha

This photo was from Easter back in 2004...Oh how Maddison Loves Easter NOT bahahaha! She has never had ANY luck with what she calls stupid easter egg hunts! She hates that hunts are always really early, and always frezing cold, there are huge crowds and on this particular day she was embarased to even be there at this age, and to top it all off, she leaves these so called easter egg hunts with an empty basket every year..yep thats right, no easter candy or eggs or anything, just tears rolling down her face!!! I am pretty sure from this easter on she has never participated in another Easter Egg Hunt!

Having three daughters is the most rewarding and fun job a person could have! I love everything about being your Mom Maddison! You made me laugh so hard in the last post you wrote about Dad and I!!! Now it is my turn to write a Little about YOU! I Love You Darling!!
We are posers for sure! That's how I raised you from the time you could lift your head!

We froze on this day last year at the ski resort, it was like 15 below zero, I remember you were picked up on by three different guys on this day and we were all watching and laughing. Man it must be hard to have such good looks and have to fight off the boys!!! I remember when Kendell used to ride his razor scooter up and down the front side walk with his friends and Dad used to go outside and shoo them away. He would tell his friends, "These boys are swarming our house like Bees"

Oh the funny stories I could tell about you my little pretty! muhahaha

Like the one where all of you may or may not have ripped the heads off of all of your barbies...I was worried and called a psychologist just to make sure my 3 year old didn't have murdering tendencies... found out it was perfectly normal...um weird !

Or the way you used to run around the front and back yard in the nude 24/7 and put your cute little butt in the air as you drank out of the hose lying in the grass with your tongue out...oh how you loved to be in the buff, I used to beg you to put your clothes back on and you would runaway as fast as you could laughing and screaming all around the yard!

The time when your were 8 and you rode your bike with me on a long bike ride and then face planted your bike and your face into the pavement, that was the most horrible bike accident, and I remember putting huge band aids all over your face like a mummy. You were so tough and I felt so bad, but that mummy head still makes me laugh! You still have that little scar above your lip from that day! Its pretty cute actually!

The funniest thing ever was at age 5 when you tried for over 25 shots at the bean bag toss during the Halloween carnival, you were bound and determined to make a shot into the pumpkin face cut out with your bean bag... I remember the determination in your heart to make at least one shot. I finally had to bring the pumpkin face right up to your hand for you to put it right in the mouth, we were all rolling on the floor with laughter. It is actually funny because year after year you try that Halloween toss and year after year you just could not make that shot!!! (last year)haha

You may or may not fall down on your face more than anyone I know... it is so funny how you will suddenly trip yourself completely by accident in any public place, be it school, the mall, church, a restaurant. I love the way you just pick yourself up and put on a smile! You were so bow legged when you were 2 and learning how to walk, and your left pigeon toe makes you special and unique~!

The dentist trip where they had to rip your tooth our of your head and I sat on top of you while the did it because you were screaming like a loony person! I did massage your feet and get you Popsicles and your favorite movies to watch all afternoon. I am so sorry about that horrible experience to this day!

Diving off the diving board was your summer goal when you were 8 so we went to the Ashton pool every day that summer and I just remember all of the belly flops you did until you finally got it. I laughed so hard I just about died! You were one proud cookie when you finally got that beautiful dive perfected, and I took about a 100 pictures of you diving that year!

Or the time in 2000 on the Olympic Ice rink in Utah, when you did your Ice Skating routine to the music Dancing Queen by Abba! That was the best, you were warming up for the competition and you went around the ice once and looked up at all the family to see a huge crowd of family and friends there to support you, you were wearing your beautiful new purple outfit! Oh it was the sight of absolute perfection, when suddenly your blade suddenly caught an edge and you face planted it into the ice, your chin began to bleed and we patched you up and boosted your confidence and then it was time to perform. We were so proud, we threw flowers and a teddy bear onto the ice as you finished and were overjoyed when you won the silver medal !!

When you were about 10 years old, you had an All Stars performance, and during your practice right before you were to go on stage, you got lifted up in the splits on the top of the pyramid and they over extended your legs the wrong way...Wowzers that was painful, I remember your huge tears rolling down your face and Dad and I trying to comfort you and talk you through it, I remember you said, lets say a prayer so I can perform, so we walked in a little side room and Dad said a prayer, a few minutes later you said I can do it now. We went and sat in our seats and to our surprise you tumbled a huge backhadsprings tumbling pass right out onto the stage! You are a trooper and we were so proud.

I can't forget how badly you wanted a gold CTR ring in 4th grade, your Dad and I thought it was a good request so we broke down and got you one during our Temple Square trip in Utah. I remember the very next day at school you were so happy about your new ring! The happiness turned to terror only a few hours after getting to school, you were at recess and did a back handspring tumble pass in the field when your new ring went flying off your finger into the never ending grass... BUMMER!!!! The phone call from school was all tears and I came right there to look for it with you! Sad to say even the metal detector thing we brought over to the grass never found that ring! Lucky for you your Dad is a softy and bought you a new one a few years later when you were a little older! It makes for a fun story though!

I could tell a million more stories, but I hate to write and I have a trillion and one things to do today!! I will be back on here and write more, so watch your back girlie!

I cry every time you play the Taylor Swift song about Mom and daughter, and I will cherish and remember our drive into Idaho Falls where you put your IPod in and played that song for me, I bawled like a lost little kids in a store! It was precious and sweet and we have certainly been through a lot together, but being your Mom has been the most rewarding and wonderful experience anyone could ever imagine! I love everything about you!

Letter to Maddison post from MOM!!!

Where do I start... First off I must say this is Maddisons Mom!! Yes I have officially figured out how to get onto her Blog and write something, because that last post about us mad me laugh so hard I cried huge crocodile tears onto the computer keyboard, I literally could not breath while I was trying to read it out loud to my husband! Maddison is such a wonderful daughter, she has been wonderful to us since the day she was born. She really didn't cry when she was born she just had this fascination with looking around and finding her Dad and I and fixing her eyes right on us! She was precious and sweet since the minute she enter the world! She smiled within the first week of her life, and giggled out loud a few days later, we found out this was not normal, and she continued to do everything early as the weeks and months went on, she didn't act like the other toddlers her age, she was smarter and quicker and I knew she was gifted! She walked at 9 months and ran by 10 months, she sang all the time from the time she figured out how to use her HUGE vocal cords! Maddison did not cry like all of the other babies in nursery she looked at them like what are you wasting your time doing that for. She has been mature beyond her years even as a few months old! This little red dress I made for her at three months old, the fact that she held her head up and posed for the camera blew the photography studios mind. That's my girl, she was a little model even then!
Maddison was born with her Dads big huge smile, her mouth when she opened it really wide made me take a second look, we called her then the flip top head and we call her that now, she can literally fit her whole fist in her mouth. I don't know many people that can do that, but she and her Dad most certainly can! This picture below was her 6 month old picture and she could not have been sweeter and happier about posing for the camera! I bought her these flat bottomed shoes that were about a size too big and she would pull herself up and balance on them trying to show me she could stand on her own and sure enough a few days after we got those shoes she was standing on her own, it was amazing!
Maddison has loved the piano from the time she was born too, her grandma Carol would sit her on her lap almost every day and she would play while Maddison plinked away as though she was playing the song right along with her, this went on for years and years until Maddison begged for lessons from her Grandma in Kindergarten, she caught on so quickly and blew us all away, her love for piano is still evident in her daily life today, she will sit down at the piano almost any spare chance she gets in the day will play song after song after song. I love it!
When she started to talk and walk she loved the videos from My Little Pony, she sang the intro song to those videos all the time. My little pony is still her favorite and she keeps her pink starlight pony right by her bed to this day.
Our little 2 year old dressed up and ready for her close up. She was such an active little girl, she would not sleep in her own bed until she was 31/2 she slept right in the middle of her Dad and I, we both didn't mind a bit either, we would look at her precious face as she slept and talk about how much joy she brought into out lives every day! She had the cutest little British accent at this age and she started Preschool at 3 and cried each time I would drop her off, it broke my heart and made me happy all at the same time. She would fight for that pink carpet mat to sit on during story time till the death, they finally had to invest in a few more pink mats. Her favorite thing to play with in Preschool was the kitchen area with the baby dolls and shopping carts and baby strollers. She was always the Mom and would boss the other little kids around. She has and always will by my girlie girl and I love it.
I'll never forget how she loved to please her Dad and I, she would clean her room and was always so proud to have us come in and see all of her hard work, her eyes would light up and her huge smile was worth a million bucks! She wanted to go to school and learn to read and do math for as early as I can remember, she would play school at home and started reading before she started kindergarten, I remember the teacher telling me that Maddison would read the books to the whole class every day during story time in Kindergarten. She has always had a love for good books and even now she reads huge books week after week. She has a huge imagination and I remember when she was reading all of the Harry Potter Books she would keep her wands (sticks from the yard) by her bed and she really thought she was a real wizard, she talked in the accent and wore a cape around the house for months. I do have to admit I told her in a very serious conversation that I could fly when I was younger and that I was a real wizard she lit up and knew right then and there that because she was my daughter, she was a real wizard too.

By the time she was five she was in love with this video called Fern Gully, she had even made up an imaginary friend and called him Fern Gully. I remember being in our first Cabin and hearing her upstairs talking and singing and I really though someone was up there with her, I called up and asked her who she was talking to, she said "Oh, I'm dancing and talking to Fern Gully" It freaked me out but she eventually grew out of it...I think...I do hear her up in her room every so often these days talking and singing and no one is there when I peak in... so idk :)
She was a pink ballerina for all of her childhood, she had a new pink leotard and tutu every Christmas because she wore them out, she would wear them day in and day out dancing and singing and performing for us all the time. She loved dance class at this age and each night she would read all of the Angelina Ballerina books 10 times in a row. She has always brought such a light and joy to our lives when ever she is in our presence! I love and value Madisons funny personality, her crazy silly side, and her caring loving and mature nature. I have so much more I can write about Maddison and I will get back on this blog and write some more when I get some more time! Maddison you light up my life and I love you so very, very, much! I could not even think up or dream up a better daughter than you. I am so glad you were born into our family and make our lives so fun and exciting. I am going to bawl for a year when you go off to college but I will be a phone call away!
Love, Love, Love, and hugs and kisses, MOM

The Rents, The Family.

I guess this is how it started. My parents, I mean. They've always been funny. Always been comical and entertaining. I mean, I've heard the way they met almost a million times. I think my mom forgets that I've heard how she played him in one-on-one basketball and followed him around until he finally went on a first date. And I won't ever hear the end of how HOTT my dad was in college and how all the girls "swooned" over him and his elf type green spandex jogging pants:) Which I have to say are one of the things that my dad does, that makes me laugh so hard my stomach hurts. Anyways, I kind of neglect my parents and don't take them and show them how much I appreciate them that often. They are awesome. My dad always has a way of making the funniest faces while he talks. One of the reasons why I laugh when he yells "FREAK OF NATURE" trying his best to make me scared. It's like watching a Will Ferell movie. I love it:)
My mom loves taking pictures. I mean LOVES taking pictures. Hence, my dad always tries to pose. Malibu got his genes, because she can't pose either. You will see in short time.

My parents think I'm kind of crazy, but HEY! They love me. When I was a baby, my dad rocked me back and forth singing "Maddi Poopie Pontie, Can't Poop Anymore, Maddi Poopie Pontie, Can't Poop Anymore" until I pooped. One time, My parents went camping, and the forest ranger told them not to have any food whatsoever in the tent at night because there's grizzly bears in the area. At two in the morning my dad woke up to a rustling sound and my mom goes "Rob! Want a Reese's or a Snickers, OH OH or a Charleston Chew!?"
Those are my parents for you:)

I will never hear the end of the bear story. We all went on a little canoeing trip on my grandma's land, my Dad didn't let us paddle and he was pulling us with a rope attached to the front of the canoe, and I was like "Dad, listen!" he stopped and listened, and it sounded like some grunting noise. And I've never seen my dad so scared. He was like "arhghsdngnskeifn! La! La! La!" as loud as he could, running in water, forgetting where the deep ends were so he fell in screaming. When we got to the shore, we decided it was only a four wheeler or a chainsaw, but my dad lives to tell the story of the "BIG BAD BEAR" :)

Aren't they great? The other day, or month, Me and my boyfriend and his cousin went to drop off a dress at my house. Knowing my dad would make me stay home, I texted my mom and told her I was putting the dress at the door. When I did that, I heard my Dad's footsteps. I ran for it. Trying to do sign language and tell Brenden to start the car, my dad came running out after me with his salad bowl in hand yelling "WAIT!!! WHERE ARE YOU GOING!!!" Brenden, being so wonderful, didn't start the car and got out to talk to my dad. We stayed there for like an hour. But it was the funniest thing. We could not stop laughing.

One time, in the middle of the night, my parent's bedroom door slammed shut and my mom woke my dad up and said someone was in the house. My dad got up, sprinted to the door and pushed the little lock button.

She layed there and looked at him, "Great, now all the kids are going to die. "

So my dad went and got his baseball bat. and he was like

"I'm like the dude from the movie Signs, nobody will get away from me and my baseball bat!"

While my dad was roaming the house looking for the house avenger, my mom called the police. She didn't want them to come in the house because that would be annoying. So she said "I heard a THUD."

The police came over to inspect the so called "Thud spot" which was in the back yard. There are windows in the living room where my dad happened to be with his baseball bat, boxers, and crazy hair. When a police officer shined the light in the living room. My dad saw him and waved frantically, saying
"HAIII!!! How are you? Whats up dog -home -slice- shake- and- bake- Ricky -Bobby?" After the police officer left and my parents were back in their rooms, My mom said to my dad,

"The window was open, It's windy outside, and that slammed the door"

And Robert and Tricia save the day:)

Last year for sweethearts, right before pictures, my mom put this on. It should be burned. Everyone in the family was BEGGING her to take it off. But she wouldn't. It's okay because now she can see what it looked like. And then she will kill me:) I'm ready though, I'll be upstairs reading Mom!

My mom has hott friends. They do yoga together.

My parents are always there for me. If it comes to mean friends, to watching paranormal activity and sleeping in their bed. I cannot confirm nor deny that I may or may not have slept in their bed because that is embarrassing. But since I put the sweater picture of my mom in this post, I will most likely be ratted out soon enough.

Oh, how my dad loves Disneyland. NOT. :) Although, he was over excited to see Shreck and Dorah at Universal studios?

They're pretty cool, not going to lie, but people were looking at them. And the people were Jello! Like bright green Jello jealous people because my parents just have to be so hott. No big deal or anything.

My dad's best friend is Brian Simpson. They played ball together. Sometimes I overhear my dad bragging about my amazing boyfriend who is better than the Edward. When me and my dad hang out, he is always on the phone with this guy. They're bestfranns:)
If it weren't for my parents, none of this would happen. They always want to do what is best for me and make sure that I'm happy and living the life. If that means coming home on a Saturday night and reading which I do. Don't hate. But My parents are amazing. I'm not embarrassed that my mom's ring tone is Milkshake. My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard... and it makes people in a room look at me like "what? You actually like your mom?" and I'm like "shut up when your talking to me my mom is the hottest thing since Jesus invented the calender":)
I love my dad because he is friends with all my my friends, and I'm not embarrassed when he dances while they are over. Because I would dance with my father anytime. He knows how to groove, and sings to the black eyed peas whenever they're on. Which happened tonight.
Because of my parents, this gets to surprise us every Christmas. My father works so hard to provide for our family and I am SO proud of him. I love him SO much.Malibu still can't take a picture,

My parents always go the extra mile to make things great. I'm a junior in high school and I only have one more year in the house. So let's make it a great one. We always do:)
I owe it all to these two nerds who decided to get married. But I wouldn't have picked anyone else to be my parents. :)

Malibu still can't figure it out.

Malibu is really not special needs, this is actually how she poses for pictures...
